The Vine and the Branches

"I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."

— John 15:5

A branch detached from a vine does not struggle to bear fruit — it simply cannot. Jesus is not calling us to try harder; He is calling us to stay connected. Abiding is not a one-time event but a daily, moment-by-moment choice to remain in prayer, in His Word, and in obedience. From that place of connection, fruitfulness is not forced — it is natural.
